Current behavior

User messages delete after one successful read, after the third wrong PIN, or after 30 days if never opened. Encrypted image attachment objects delete after their one-time attachment download or during scheduled expiry cleanup. Service-owned review/demo rows may be retained so Apple can repeatedly verify App Clip invocation.

Safety note

Screenshot and screen recording protections are best-effort iOS protections. They reduce accidental exposure but cannot guarantee protection against external cameras or compromised devices. Interaction status sharing, including optional screenshot reports to the sender, is opt-in in the app's Privacy settings and works reciprocally.
